White also proposed and implemented a forensic psychology track for the undergraduate criminal justice and psychology programs and the graduate criminal justice program.

As part of his research endeavors, White has created a database of over 500 serial killers, which he has used for numerous presentations and to write numerous scholarly articles. The database also served as information for his novel.

Practice of Forensic Psychology

White received his license to practice psychology in New Jersey in 2001 and he began treating court-ordered clients who had committed criminal offenses, mostly sex crimes. He was recruited as an associate member of the Academy Group, a forensic behavioral science company, and continued to work a variety of cases as a consultant ranging from homicide to Internet luring cases. He joined the Vidocq Society as an associate member. Vidocq Society is an organization of former and current detectives, forensic scientists, forensic psychologists, and criminal profilers. The Society meets once a month in Philadelphia and offers suggestions to various law enforcement agencies after they present a cold case to the group. White was a board member of the American College of Forensic Psychology, which meets once a year on the west coast.

After testifying in several court cases, White realized how important it is to be knowledgeable about neuropsychology concepts. He went back to school in 2012 and earned his certificate in clinical neuropsychology training from Fielding Graduate University in New York City in 2014.

Books

Novel - In Pursuit of a Serial Killer : The Archetype Case In Pursuit of a Serial Killer: The Archetype Case is a fictional story about the lives of several law enforcement officers as they pursue a serial killer who travels from Detroit to Dallas. Readers follow the officers as they tediously go through the investigative and profiling processes in their pursuit of a monster home invader who kills families. Throughout the case, Holland is haunted by images of the past including the death of his parents and his failure to maintain close relationships with others. FBI Special Agent Kris Loewen just wanted an easy desk job as an agent, and was terrified by being thrust into such a horrific case. Loewen has to work through her insecurities as an FBI agent as well as deal with an abusive marriage as she and Holland, along with other task force members, try to bring a resolution to The Archetype Case. This novel is loosely based on a few police experiences encountered by White, cases he has worked as a forensic psychologist, and by the many true stories of real serial killers who have committed horrendous offenses. It is the first of a series of novels planned by White using the same characters.
